our world is not equal
REFUGEES
There are 25.9 million refugees and almost half of them are children. 74.8 million people have been displaced from their homes and communities due to conflict, persecution, natural disasters or climate change. UNHCR
POVERTY
1.3 billion people live in extreme poverty. More than 80% of the world’s population survive on less than $10 a day, meaning they don’t have the means to access and receive the benefits that organised sport programs can bring. This gap in opportunity between those of us who can, and those that can’t is widening. UNICEF
GENDER
1 in 3 women or girls will face gender based violence in their lifetime. That’s one billion. In many cultures around the world girls are restricted and often prohibited from partaking in sport and recreational activities. UN Women
PARK MISSION
SOCCER CAN CHANGE THE WORLD
Soccer is used by charities and organisations all over the world to engage, empower and motivate kids and youth.
Soccer is seldom the sole focus of their programs, but implemented as an important part of their strategy to deliver vital services to the people and communities they serve.
Soccer is used to encourage and reward participation in education and vital health programs.
Soccer is used to help refugees and people seeking asylum integrate into local communities, as a gateway to much needed services and to just feel at home.
Playing soccer offers girls an opportunity to build their self-esteem, courage and confidence. It’s a place where they can take up leadership positions and increase their belief in their own ability.
This translates into everyday life – it encourages them to take initiative, raise their voices and attempt things they never thought possible. When community members see girls achieve in soccer, they recognise their potential to achieve in other areas. Soccer is a powerful tool and platform to strengthen social ties, networks, engage the community and promote positive messages. In short, wins on the pitch translate into wins off the pitch.
TRANSFORM THE WORLD BY 2032
PARK Projects are focussed on the UN Sustainable Development Goal No.10: Reduced Inequalities.
Together we will level the playing field for the next generation. We will raise awareness of the global opportunity gap and create change by providing tangible ways fo you to take action through the
sport we love.

ONE BALL THAT BINDS US TOGETHER
Sometimes, something as simple as having a ball to play with can change the direction of a kids life.
For every ball purchased through the PARK Pass-A-Ball Project, PARK passes another ball to a kid in need around the world. One for one.
We believe every child who wants to kick a ball should have an equal opportunity to kick the same ball as everyone in the world.
We believe every child who wants to play soccer should have the same opportunity to play the game as everyone in the world.
