A CLUB. A CITY. MORE CHANCES TO PLAY.
A football club’s connection to its city extends beyond match day. Sacramento Republic FC was turning community spaces into soccer pitches. Together, we created a way for supporters to help put balls into those spaces.
FROM THE STANDS TO THE COMMUNITY.
Sacramento Republic FC approached PARK with a clear ambition: connect its community work with its fans.
We designed a collaboration football for supporters to buy. Through the Pass-a-Ball Project, each purchase contributed another ball for the club to distribute into the community.
A collection of scarves, caps, socks and other supporter pieces brought the collaboration together around the city’s love of the game.
A PURCHASE THAT STARTS SOMETHING.
The collaboration passed 528 balls into the community. Fans could support their club and help someone else get a ball at their feet.
The club led the work locally. PARK connected the product with the donation. Supporters made it possible through their purchases.
A shared place to play. A ball to play with. A connection between the people watching the game and the people discovering it.
